In Gaara vs. Rock Lee: The Power of Youth Explodes!, Rock Lee opens with Strong Fist taijutsu against Gaara, but a wall of sand rises on its own to block every strike. Lee then removes the weights strapped to his legs, gaining enough speed to land a clean hit before committing to his signature Front Lotus technique.
