During the Fourth Shinobi World War, Kabuto raised an expendable wave of reanimated ninja gathered from many nations. Their task was simple and desperate: reach the bodies of his powerful revived warriors, already sealed away by the Allied forces, and cut them loose once more.
The Impure World Reincarnation Allied Forces were an army of reanimated shinobi assembled from numerous lands and thrown into the war on Akatsuki's side. Their objective centered on freeing the far stronger reincarnated fighters that the Allied Shinobi Forces had already beaten and sealed. Most had been rebuilt from genetic material Kabuto gathered while he served Orochimaru, harvested specifically to trial the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation, with a portion taken only after he absorbed Orochimaru's remains into his own body.
Once his elite revived warriors began to fall, Kabuto flooded the battlefield with these weaker reanimations in a bid to release them. Their sheer number unnerved the Allies at first, yet their limited strength quickly showed, and many were put down and sealed in short order. Because their minds stayed intact, they bickered over how to carry out their orders and even reunited with living Allied soldiers they had once known, explaining their grim purpose.
When recovering Toroi proved impossible, a detachment under Torune Aburame split off, its movements screened by Heiji until he too was sealed. Pressing toward the entombed Third Raikage, the group traded regrets along the way. Traps thinned their ranks: one member was snared and sealed, prompting Daimaru to clear the rest with his Earth Release: Sand Dance, while Chūkaku's attempt at a Sealing Release Technique was cut short by the arrival of Temari's squad. Daimaru, who had never been cowed by Temari's status as the Fourth Kazekage's daughter and Gaara's sister, confessed his feelings for her before being sealed, leaving Torune as the last standing.
Torune Aburame led the breakaway detachment and outlasted the rest. Kabuto, who had once dismissed him as weak, was impressed enough to set him preparing a forbidden Aburame technique, the Jar of Poison Technique. Word of his return reached Shino Aburame, who sought him out; the two reminisced, and Torune even coached his relative on how to bring him down. Their clash, joined by a clone of Naruto, ended when Shino revealed insects bred to resist the rinkaichū venom, accelerated their growth using Torune's own jutsu, and sealed him. Others in the force included Daimaru, Chūkaku, and Heiji, and once the reincarnation jutsu was undone, every soul among them returned to the afterlife.

The Impure World Reincarnation Allied Forces were an army of reanimated shinobi that Kabuto sent into the Fourth Shinobi World War to free his stronger reincarnated warriors after the Allied Shinobi Forces had already defeated and sealed them.
Torune Aburame led a detachment of the Impure World Reincarnation Allied Forces and outlasted the rest of his group, eventually being sealed by his relative Shino Aburame using insects bred to resist his poison.
Most members of the Impure World Reincarnation Allied Forces were rebuilt from genetic material Kabuto gathered while serving Orochimaru, harvested to test the Summoning: Impure World Reincarnation, with some taken only after Kabuto absorbed Orochimaru's remains.
Although their numbers unnerved the Allied Shinobi Forces at first, the reanimated soldiers' limited individual strength meant many were quickly defeated and sealed, and because their minds stayed intact they sometimes hesitated or even reunited with living soldiers they had once known.
Alongside Torune Aburame, the group included Daimaru, Chukaku, and Heiji, all of whom were eventually sealed by the Allied Shinobi Forces, with Daimaru confessing his feelings to Temari before falling.
