Role

At the division's founding, Shizune set down one firm rule for the assembled medics: Tonton was never to be eaten under any circumstance. Once fully equipped, the unit moved out alongside the wider Allied Shinobi Forces. Following the revised plan drawn up by Shikaku Nara, Shizune later split the division apart so that medical-nin would be spread evenly among the other units and reach the wounded faster.

Behind the front line, the medics and their counterparts from each division regrouped to build a recovery station for the hurt and worn-out. Akimichi guards watched the entrance alongside sensors who matched the chakra of every arrival against headquarters, yet the safeguards were not airtight. A White Zetsu Army clone slipped inside wearing the face of Neji Hyuga and killed at least five healers, among them Hino, Takemaru, and Toyosa, before Sakura Haruno saw through the disguise, seized the impostor as it lunged at her, and alerted command.

Notable Members

Shizune served as captain over the entire division. After the clone was exposed, she and Sakura Haruno sealed off the compound, treating any movement as hostile, and performed an autopsy on the captured fake under an Akimichi watch. When two more transformed clones nearly forced their way in, a shadow clone of Naruto Uzumaki reached the station and, working with the others, helped root out the disguised infiltrators hidden among them.
