The Sumo Wrestlers are a traveling group of sumo fighters who make a habit of assaulting both shinobi and samurai. At their head stands Yokozuna, whose name doubles as the group's identity. Rather than ninja arts, they trade on the brawn their sport demands.
In combat the wrestlers depend on overwhelming physical force, striking with brutal open-handed slaps to bowl over their opponents. Their ambitions reach as far as taking control of Konohagakure, a plan they set in motion with a direct push at the village.
Yokozuna leads the pack of wrestlers into their attempted takeover of the Leaf. Their campaign falls apart, however, when the Allied Mothers Force and Konohamaru push back and drive the group out of the village.
