Team 25

This Leaf Village team is made up of Hoki Taketori, Hako Kuroi, and Renga Kokubo, with an unnamed shinobi rounding out the original roster. When the group's first leader is pulled from duty due to disabilities, Sai Yamanaka steps in to command them. He sees their talents as well suited to reconnaissance, so he routinely funnels them into intelligence assignments and trains them in that direction.

Following Hoki's promotion to chunin, he is named captain and the cell trims down to three. Its record leans heavily on information work. The team joins the broader effort against the Byakuya Gang and lends a hand at the Konohagakure post office, an errand that turns tense once Boruto and Sarada arrive chasing a bomb threat. Their standout job comes from intel squeezed out of Shojoji: dispatched to Amegakure, they investigate whether the organisation Kara truly exists and chart the underground tunnels for Sai and Sasuke. Later they are sent to block the Bamboo Minister's supporters from seizing Princess Kae Yukiwari as a bargaining chip after his arrest.

Sai Yamanaka leads the group after its original captain steps aside, and Hoki Taketori eventually assumes command. Alongside Hoki serve Hako Kuroi and Renga Kokubo, all three drilled toward the stealth and surveillance missions Sai favours for them.
