Overview
Shibuki of Takigakure puts this squad together around Fu, the village's own jinchuriki. To keep her safe and conceal the tailed beast she carries, two jonin named Kegon and Yoro travel alongside her while pretending to hold only genin rank. The disguise lets the group blend into the cooperative Chunin Exams jointly hosted by the Leaf and the Sand.
Role
After clearing the first stage in Konoha, the Waterfall team becomes the very first to reach the Demon Desert. Once there, Fu breaks off to help the Fifth Kazekage, who is under attack by Hoichi as the enemy tries to rip out his tailed beast. The move exposes Fu, and she too is marked as a target for the beast inside her. Neji Hyuga steps in to free both jinchuriki, and the exam's third round is scrapped soon after.
