Team Yurui was a Kumogakure genin trio that traveled to the Hidden Leaf for the Chunin Exams. The squad reached the tournament's final round before Team Konohamaru knocked all three of its members out of contention.
Sent by the Hidden Cloud, this genin group entered the Chunin Exams staged in the Hidden Leaf. Its three fighters, Yurui, Tarui, and Toroi, carried their village's hopes into the competition.
The team pressed forward all the way to the closing stage of the exams. There their run was cut short by the young squad led by Konohamaru. Boruto Uzumaki overcame Yurui, Sarada Uchiha got the better of Tarui, and Mitsuki put down Toroi, ending the group's bid on every front.
Yurui gives the team its name and heads a lineup completed by Tarui and Toroi. Beyond their showing at the exams, the squad's jonin instructor was never actually depicted in the series, surfacing only as concept sketches in supplementary material. The three genin themselves are chiefly remembered as opponents for the next generation of Leaf ninja.
