Summary
With Karin dropping to the ground, a battered Danzō pushes himself toward Sasuke and Tobi. His thoughts circle the fact that he never matched Hiruzen Sarutobi, above all in failing to claim the title of Hokage. Choosing to fall with dignity the way Hiruzen once did, he attempts to drag the two enemies down with him, but they slip clear of his final effort.
His foe dealt with, Sasuke voices his intent to press on toward Konoha. Far off, Sakura closes on his position and moves to knock out the ninja escorting her so she can meet him by herself, only for Sai to interrupt the plan.
