Kakashi's Conclusion

In Kakashi's Conclusion, Sasuke proves the toughest test for Kakashi during the bell exercise, forcing him to stop reading his book and pin Sasuke down after he uses Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique. Naruto is caught trying to steal lunch, and Kakashi decides not to send any of the three back to the Academy.

No, Kakashi gathers the three together and tells them there is no reason to send any of them back to the Academy. He does add the stinging advice that they should abandon the idea of becoming ninja altogether.

Set on outdoing Naruto and Sakura, Sasuke throws himself at Kakashi and proves a stiffer test than his teammates, forcing Kakashi to snap shut the Icha Icha volume he had been idly reading. Once Sasuke unleashes Fire Release: Great Fireball Technique, Kakashi drops the casual act and pins him in place.

Naruto works his way loose of the trap Kakashi had left him in and reaches for some of the team's lunch. He is caught in the act before he can eat any of it.

Kakashi's Conclusion is chapter 7, rounding out volume 1 within the Land of Waves prologue arc. Viz released it in English under the title Kakashi's Decision.
