Puppet Master vs. Puppet Master!!

The Mother and Father marionettes trace back to Sasori's childhood, built by the boy to mirror the parents he lost early and to fill the role they once held. Being lifeless constructs, they could never return the affection he craved, so he abandoned interest in them and left the pair with Chiyo. Now the elder wields those very puppets against the Third Kazekage puppet, and in a straightforward exchange they manage to overwhelm it.

The advantage does not hold, because the Third once lived as a man and still commands everything he could in life, chief among them his Iron Sand. Sasori turns that power against Chiyo's puppets, canceling them out with the metallic dust before unleashing the same technique on Chiyo and Sakura.

Chiyo deploys the Mother and Father puppets and briefly dominates the Third Kazekage puppet in close combat. Sasori counters by activating the Third's Iron Sand, neutralising Chiyo's constructs. He then directs the Iron Sand assault toward Chiyo and Sakura.

The chapter is part of the Kazekage Rescue Mission arc and fleshes out Sasori's backstory, linking his cold artistry to the loss of his parents. It also establishes the Third Kazekage puppet's Iron Sand as the fight's central threat.
