Summary
Ignoring Jūgo's insistence that he flee, Sasuke stays put. Jūgo explains that Kimimaro alone had ever been able to leash his murderous urges, and with Kimimaro gone he no longer dares step beyond his cell. Sasuke counters by revealing that Kimimaro gave his life for him. Recalling his final exchange with his lost friend, Jūgo takes this to mean that a piece of Kimimaro endures inside Sasuke, and on that understanding he agrees to come along.
With his roster now complete, Sasuke christens the group Hebi and sets them a single objective: to track down Itachi and end him. Back in Konoha, Naruto grasps that this is exactly what Sasuke is chasing, and resolves to hunt Itachi himself as the path that will lead him back to his friend.
