Summary
Against his own preference, Sasuke steps aside and leaves Kankurō to Shino. Shino readies his kikaichū as Kankurō brings out Karasu for the matchup. Sensing that Sasuke has drawn close, Gaara dismisses Temari so the two of them can meet alone, the creature sealed inside him hungering for Sasuke's blood. Having spent the past month dreaming of satisfying that craving, Gaara sets in motion the very transformation he first attempted during the Chūnin Exams.
