During the second stage of the Chunin Exams, Gaara reveals the merciless killer beneath his calm exterior. A rival team from Amegakure learns too late that his sand defends itself, and a nearby squad only just escapes his appetite for slaughter.
Shigure of Amegakure opens his assault, yet every strike glances off the automatic barrier of sand encircling Gaara. Watching from cover, Kiba catches the coppery reek of old blood clinging to the defense. Gaara answers by wrapping his attacker in sand and squeezing until Shigure is dead, borrowing one of the man's own umbrellas so the spray never reaches his skin. Shigure's two comrades try to trade away their scroll for mercy, but Gaara finishes them exactly as he finished their leader.
With the whole Amegakure squad wiped out and his bloodlust still unsatisfied, Gaara turns toward the hiding place of Team 8, hungry for more killing. His brother and sister step in and talk him down, sparing Kiba, Hinata, and Shino. The three genin count themselves lucky to have walked away from a brush with Gaara alive.

Naruto vs Luffy with the twist nobody asked for: Luffy tickled Hinata on date night, and she kind of liked it. We break down the whole fight and commit to a winner....

Naruto built the transformation jutsu himself, and the Hidden Leaf has been quietly not talking about it ever since. The story behind our 90s R&B record about the Naruko question everybody dodges....
