Akisu

Akisu is a dark-haired boy with a small dimple beneath each eye. He sports a white beanie, a pair of goggles slung around his neck, a green coat, and a white shirt.

He has a tender, devoted streak, throwing himself into saving Borodo and ultimately choosing to stay at his side. Beyond a thorough knowledge of Clockwork Island, he displays no remarkable powers.

Seven years earlier, when the Trump Pirates seized Clockwork Island, Akisu's parents cast their infant son out to sea, and Borodo found and raised him; the two grew into the thieving Thief Brothers. Years later they snared the Straw Hats in a net while the crew tried to rescue a seemingly drowning Akisu, then agreed to help recover the stolen Going Merry. The trail led to Clockwork Island, secretly Akisu's birthplace, where his parents recognized the music box he dropped as their child's. At Trump Castle he was knocked out and left behind, but woke and rushed back to defend his brother from Pin Joker. After Luffy destroyed the island's key and the structure crumbled, everyone escaped and reunited with Akisu's parents. Borodo tried to leave him to live with them, yet Akisu followed, insisting on remaining a Thief Brother, and the pair set off bickering over how to split their loot.
