Banshee

Plump in figure, Banshee dresses in a short-sleeved blouse paired with dark trousers patterned in light polka dots, finished with dark heels. A flintlock is often in her grip. Her hair falls long and wavy in a pale shade, tied back by a dark bandanna that echoes the polka-dot motif, and she paints her lips dark. Because a mermaid's tail divides into legs after she turns thirty, Banshee passes readily for human and wears human clothing.

Her devotion to Ace runs deep, enough that she stood ready to shield him from an Emperor of the Sea. There is a blunter, irreverent streak to her as well: she happily mocked Masked Deuce's adventure diary, laughing at his clumsy prose even though chronicling their voyages was his cherished goal. That ridicule cost the offenders, since Deuce struck their names from the record in retaliation.

With no dedicated cook aboard, Banshee took charge of preparing the crew's meals. Her combat skill remains undocumented, and she and the rest of the Spades fell easily before Edward Newgate. Her mermaid heritage grants her several natural gifts: she can converse with fish and summon them through sonar-like calls, breathe beneath the waves, and swim at tremendous speed. In a fight she carries a flintlock, though how skilled she is with it is unknown. Across her travels she helped repel bounty hunters and surrounded the Marine Ensign Isuka when she infiltrated the crew's vessel. The Spades were once shipwrecked in Wano Country, befriended Tama in Amigasa Village, and raided Onigashima to free abducted children, eventually crossing paths with Yamato. After Ace fought Jinbe to a draw, Banshee and her crewmates were beaten by Newgate and absorbed into the Whitebeard Pirates alongside their captain.
