Billy (Bandit)

A horizontal scar, stitched together like a patch, marks Billy's pale forehead. He pads himself with knee and elbow guards and wraps bandages over much of his frame, dressing above the waist in a blue and brown top. Beige trousers and a purple cloth knotted at the hips round out his outfit.

Billy embodies the usual outlaw clichés, swaggering with a bloated sense of his own strength, snapping at the slightest provocation, and acting before thinking. The instant Zoro mentioned claiming a reward, Billy treated it as a personal affront and lunged, a recklessness that cost him almost immediately.

Billy moved with surprising quickness, springing at Zoro in a blink, and the 5,000,000 Berry price on his head marked him as a genuine threat. None of that mattered against Zoro, who held the bandit's two-handed strike at bay using a single hand and then dropped him without effort. His weapon is an odd sword, its blade unusually long with a faint blue cast, lined with crescent ridges and pierced by crescent-shaped cutouts.

In the East Blue past, Billy was carousing in the same tavern as Yosaku and Johnny when Zoro entered and announced he would settle his tab after collecting a bounty. Taking the boast as a challenge, Billy charged with his blade, only to find his powerful overhead blow stopped cold. Zoro asked whether he was wanted, learned the figure was 5,000,000 Berries, judged it sufficient, and felled him with one swift cut across the chest. The unconscious bandit was handed over by Johnny and Yosaku, who claimed first sight of him, with Zoro letting them keep the reward.
