Pudding, the thirty-fifth daughter and seventy-sixth child of the Charlotte Family, is a hybrid of human and Three-Eye Tribe blood who runs the Cacao Island cafe Caramel as a gifted chocolatier. Once set up as Sanji's arranged bride, she began as a major foe before her genuine feelings for him turned her into an ally of the Straw Hats.
Fair of skin, Pudding has rounded blue eyes that the anime recolors reddish brown, alongside noticeably full lips. She is fairly short, standing about a head beneath Sanji, and keeps her light brown hair in pigtails at the back with bangs swept across the front. Her most striking feature is the third eye on her forehead, a trait of her Three-Eye Tribe heritage that her bangs normally hide from view.
Mocked and mistreated in childhood over her third eye, Pudding grew a deep inferiority complex and, under her mother's harsh rule, learned to conceal the eye and then much of herself. At heart she is timid, sensitive, and easily frightened, feelings she buries beneath formidable acting. Sanji became the first person ever to call her third eye beautiful, which moved her to real tears and left her unable to carry out her mother's order to kill him. From that kindness sprang a sincere romantic fixation, an extreme tsundere streak that whipsaws between scorn and tenderness and bewilders even her. Her practiced mask, however, lets her play a vicious, cruel deceiver, taking sadistic pleasure in tormenting victims with the truth, since she can simply rewrite their memories afterward.
As an officer she commands lower-ranking crew, and her mixed Three-Eye Tribe blood may one day awaken the power to read the Poneglyphs, though she doubts it will. Her will is strong enough to stay conscious under Big Mom's Supreme King Haki. Above all she is a peerless actress, able to slip flawlessly into the role of a sweet and innocent woman and fool nearly anyone, even Haki users like Luffy and Sanji. She is a superb chocolatier whose confections both Luffy and Chopper find irresistible, holds skill in cartography from memory, and carries a Walker revolver loaded with Candy Jacket rounds powerful enough to pierce the Vinsmokes' armored frames. She owes her command of memory to a Paramecia-class fruit, the Memo Memo no Mi, which lets her draw recollections out of a person's head as film strips, cut frames away to erase events, and splice in new ones to replace them. Across her story she shifts from her mother's assassination plot against the Vinsmokes to helping bake the substitute wedding cake and aiding the Straw Hats' escape, and she is presently held prisoner by the Blackbeard Pirates.

When I first decided to commit to watching One Piece seriously, I knew I was embarking on one of anime's longest and most beloved series. With over 100...

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
