History

While Cosmo, his companions, and Tsukimi were enjoying snacks and watching the moon, a sudden blast erupted on its surface from an unknown cause. The shock made Tsukimi gulp a dumpling whole, and he choked to death. Once the inventor was buried, the four machines and Cosmo each rode a balloon up to the moon to confront whoever had triggered the explosion. There they encountered the same Space Pirates who had wrecked Maxim, and despite hopeless odds the automata took on the crew's captain, only to be beaten. After Enel later struck the machines with lightning and recharged the lunar city, they thanked him for their revival and enlisted in his army.
