Finamore rides with the Spade Pirates, the youthful crew Portgas D. Ace captained before the Whitebeard banner. Devoted enough to square up against an Emperor for his captain, he was folded into the Whitebeard Pirates right alongside the rest of his shipmates.
A gray turban paired with a matching scarf sits atop Finamore, who keeps his feet bare under a patterned shirt and a pale skirt. He stands short, with fair skin and a face built from thick lips, a little nose, and small rounded eyes. Concept artwork pushes him toward a far more cartoonish, chibi build, paring down his torso and thinning out his limbs.
His attachment to Ace runs deep, deep enough that he placed himself between his captain and Edward Newgate without hesitation. That loyalty does not stop him from being a bit of a needler, though. He and most of the crew snickered at Masked Deuce's clumsy adventure journal, mocking the very project Deuce treasured most, which got their names struck from its pages.
Finamore signed on with the Spade Pirates and sailed beside Ace as the young pirate built his reputation. He helped repel a band of bounty hunters, and when the Marine officer Isuka slipped aboard their vessel he closed in on her with the others, only for her to brush them all aside. The crew afterward put in at Sabaody Archipelago, and while their ship was coated he roamed the island and secretly leafed through Deuce's diary, laughing at the writing along with his friends. The crew was also once stranded in Wano Country, where the hungry villagers of Amigasa tied them up and took their provisions, an encounter that ended in friendship and a bond with Tama. Once Ace fought Jinbe to a draw, Finamore and the rest tried to shield him from Newgate and were swiftly beaten, after which they all joined the Whitebeard Pirates. He fights with a guandao-style polearm, though his skill with it is undocumented, and he has not been shown since.
