History
Descended from a long lineage of firework makers who hand their craft down the generations, Flora absorbed those skills from Volg and went on to design the "Super Special Seven Color Fireworks Rangoon" for the yearly festival on Madatascar Island. She and her father were at work on that very firework when the DX Marines seized the island, outlawing all pyrotechnics and demanding total obedience from the residents. After the Straw Hat Pirates landed and were scattered by Crocodile's sandstorm, Luffy crossed paths with Flora and Volg, who explained why the island had gone dark. When the crew took on the DX Marines, Luffy shielded Flora, and although Volg was captured by Bildy, Luffy's defeat of Smash freed him, letting Flora, her father, and the islanders finally hold their firework celebration.
