Fukumi

Appearance
Fukumi was a young girl whose pale, frizzy hair was gathered into a low ponytail, with strands framing each side of her face. Floral ornaments decorated the top of those side strands and the spot where her ponytail was tied. She dressed in a kimono.
Personality
Warm feeling tied Fukumi to her brother Fukurokuju, who came to nurse a grudge on her account. Toward Raizo she felt genuine affection that blossomed into love after he saved her. Her brother, however, badly misjudged what she felt, mistaking devotion for resentment.
History
Sickly from a young age, Fukumi was rescued by Raizo while he was carrying out a mission. When she leaned in to kiss him, he shoved her away and unintentionally injured her. Too ashamed to face her again, Raizo fled. Fukumi's illness eventually claimed her, and as she died she cried out Raizo's name. Fukurokuju took that cry for hatred, never grasping that his sister had loved the ninja, and carried the misunderstanding for the rest of his life.
