Jotto

Jotto is a big, heavily muscled man with black eyes and a black beard. His black hair grows only along the crown of his head, leaving the rest bare. He wears a grey-purple T-shirt with blue jeans and a pair of large brown boots.

Jotto comes across as a warm, respectful sort who values the people around him. Tender moments move him easily to tears, and he holds his friends close to his heart.

Jotto shows no particular special skills, though he clearly possesses real strength, catching Randolph in midair after Luffy hurled him across a considerable distance. He first turned up rehearsing with Randolph for the performer's farewell show, breaking down in tears during a pause at the thought of never sharing the stage with him again. When Lola and two other cast members walked out, he fretted that the play might collapse, only to brighten once Nami announced the Straw Hats would fill the empty roles, and he soon found himself admiring her looks. He acted through the opening act until he was knocked out by accident, worried as the replacement performers fumbled the show, then relieved when Randolph stepped in to win the crowd over. Seen touching up his makeup at intermission, he later helped a battered Randolph back to his feet and urged him onward for the rest of the production.
