Appearance

Round and short of stature, Julius carries a wrinkled, pear-shaped face under a thick mustache. His tricorne flops at the sides and bears a personal flag of a skull set between two curved horns. Stubby cords cinch his coat shut, and a single cannon perches on each shoulder, held in place by straps that wrap across his chest and back. The Digitally Colored Manga tints the hat blue and shades the coat gray.

Personality

Almost nothing about his inner character has surfaced. The fact that he fought for Whitebeard during the Summit War of Marineford hints that he honors a pirate's code and places real value on standing by his allies.

History

Across his career, Julius earned a frightening reputation throughout the New World, enough to strike a pact with Whitebeard himself, though his fighting ability was never put on display and the two shoulder cannons were never seen firing. When Ace was condemned to die at Marineford, Julius and his men joined the Whitebeard Pirates in the bid to free him. After Whitebeard was killed and Blackbeard claimed the quake powers of the Gura Gura no Mi while vowing to flatten the island, Julius and Agsilly watched the scene with anxious faces. The Red Hair Pirates then sailed in, and Sengoku permitted the remaining pirates to leave, so Julius is assumed to have escaped.
