Koba K

Character

Koba K is a non-canon pirate glimpsed only briefly, appearing as a face on a wanted poster during the opening of the ninth One Piece film. Nothing of his story plays out on screen; the bounty is essentially all the audience learns about him.

Bounty: 100000
Status: Non-canon
First Appearance (Anime): Episode of Chopper Plus (Movie 9)
Crew & Affiliations: World Government

Appearance

Hairless on top with sun-darkened skin, Koba K sports patchy stubble across his chin that grows fuller as it reaches his neck. Perched on his face is a pair of spectacles whose left lens carries a red tint and a visible crack down it. Fans have noted that both his look and his name seem to nod toward the Japanese comedian and actor Kendo Kobayashi, who also goes by Ken Koba.

Abilities

Because he never does anything on screen, his combat skill or lack of it remains a blank. The one clue available is the modest figure on his poster, a sum suggesting the World Government rates him as far less dangerous than the bulk of wanted pirates.

History

At an unspecified point the World Government assigned Koba K a bounty of 100,000 berries. Whether that price is still standing or has since been withdrawn is never made clear, since his single appearance in the movie's intro is the entirety of his role.
