Appearance

At a height of only twenty centimeters, Mansherry ranks as the smallest character introduced anywhere in the series. Her light blue eyes peek out from a mass of thick, wavy blonde hair, a portion of which is gathered into two buns while the rest drapes over her body and tail. A short dress in white forms her main outfit, with her footwear and leg coverings dyed to match it.

Two small green flowers decorated her hair when she first turned up. Several characters, Giolla and Tsuru among them, regard her as remarkably cute.

Personality

Leo once branded her as spoiled, ill-tempered, fickle, and unkind, though this reading of her badly misses the mark. In truth Mansherry is warm and generous: after grasping that Doflamingo had deceived her, she would not mend the wounds of his officers, aware that doing so only let them go on tormenting the dwarves she ruled over. Kabu vouched for this gentler nature, insisting she treats everyone with genuine kindness.

Why does Leo read her so wrongly? She harbors a powerful infatuation with him, praising him as her shining knight in armor and turning red when his arms caught her after a rescue. Even so, his blunt comment about her putting on weight earned him a punch. The prickly, tsundere streak she displays is reserved for Leo and no one else.

Abilities

Her dwarf physiology grants her remarkable swiftness and a strength far beyond what her size implies, and Leo noted that even by dwarf standards her speed stands out. As the princess, she holds command over every dwarf, ranking just under her father the king. She consumed a Paramecia-type Devil Fruit, the Chiyu Chiyu no Mi, which lets her instantly restore the wounds of any living thing, channeling the effect through several means including her own tears. Giolla once exploited this by forcing her to weep so that fallen Donquixote Pirates might recover. The fruit can also rebuild lifeless objects, a use Doflamingo wanted reserved for the SMILE factory, though tapping that power drains her years of life. Later she learned to absorb donated vitality from others, producing dandelion-like seed heads that heal an injury permanently and flawlessly the moment they are applied.
