Marin is an aged woman who moves about in a wheelchair marked Y-1 on the wheel. Her hair has gone grey and she wears glasses with small round lenses. Over a purple shirt she drapes a green sweater knotted at the neck and shoulders, while a long dark blue skirt and an orange polka-dotted blanket cover her legs, finished with pale blue shoes.
The molten rocks that nearly struck her, Homey, and Zomino left Marin frightened. After Kuzan pulled them from danger she was profoundly grateful to him, and that gratitude blossomed into a crush.

In her youth Marin competed as a yacht racer. More recently, after the father of Homey and Zomino passed away and their mother left to work at sea, the two children came to live with her. During the film she reached Secon Island by Sea Train, and when Z triggered the Dyna Stone there, Kuzan shielded her along with Homey and Zomino from a falling molten rock. The three thanked him and escaped back to the Sea Train.
