Odacchi is a sports commentator who also plays on Buggy's soccer squad in the featurette Dream Soccer King. Loud and overconfident, he is notable mainly for being voiced by series creator Eiichiro Oda himself.
Of ordinary height and tanned complexion, Odacchi has shaved his hair into a soccer-ball design and ties off pigtails capped with tiny soccer balls. Stubble dots his chin, paint streaks his nose, and a gold hoop hangs from his left ear. He squeezes into a tight yellow-and-blue jersey printed like a ball, layered over a pink polo and red bow tie, with loose red pants completing the kit.
Brash to a fault, Odacchi barreled into the middle of an ongoing match, signed onto Buggy's side on a whim, and booted the ball at the goal with no plan whatsoever. Afterward he could not resist praising his own showing, right up until his teammates turned on him.

Despite boasting of years spent sharpening his game in a soccer club, Odacchi is a dismal player; Koby snagged his shot without trouble. During the final round he dropped in from a Marine hot-air balloon when the villains' team was set to kick, fired at the net, and gawked as Koby caught it. He slipped off to a balcony to crow about his brilliant performance, only for Buggy to haul him back down so the team could thrash him. He then watched alongside the others as Sanji struck the winning goal for the Straw Hats' team. Years later he showed up at the Pirates Festival on Delta Island in One Piece: Stampede, celebrating Douglas Bullet's defeat with Captain Seven and Pandaman. His name is drawn from Oda's own childhood nickname.
