Appearance
Rather than a conventional ship, the Ryugu is a sizable hull constructed over the body of a giant oarfish, making it a living means of getting people around. Rows of oars jut out from the carriage portion of the craft. Lettering on its side reads 竜宮城, a reference to the Ryugu Palace.

The vessel exists to move people across Fish-Man Island more conveniently. Its oarfish base provides propulsion through the water while passengers ride in the attached carriage, making it a practical ferry for royalty and citizens of the Ryugu Kingdom alike.
History
The ship appeared while part of the Straw Hat crew relaxed at Mermaid Cove, carrying Fukaboshi and his brothers to the scene. When Sanji suffered a severe nosebleed and Luffy frantically called for a blood donor only to be ignored, Camie commandeered the Ryugu. She then fled aboard it with the Straw Hats to track down someone who could donate blood for Sanji.
