Spacey

Standing on the short side, this android is dressed up like a foot soldier. A thick mustache sits on his face, while an army-style jacket and a matching helmet complete the military look. Slung across his back are a rifle and assorted gear.

Devotion is his defining trait. That loyalty shows clearly toward Enel, whom he treats as the one who rescued him after the Space Pirates had been beaten. He is presumed handy with the rifle he carries.

While Spacey, his fellow automata, and Dr. Tsukimi were sharing snacks and gazing up at the moon, a massive blast of unexplained origin tore across its surface. Startled, Tsukimi gulped down a dumpling whole and choked, dying on the spot. Once the professor was laid to rest, the four machines each grabbed a balloon and floated up to the moon, set on punishing whoever had triggered the explosion that took their creator.

On the lunar surface they ran into the Space Pirates. The automata threw themselves at the enemy captain but were swiftly outmatched, so Spacey panicked and ran, abandoning the other three. Enel later stumbled upon him and brought him back to working order with a jolt of his lightning. Grateful, Spacey guided his rescuer to the spot where his comrades had fallen. A lurking pirate then sprang an ambush, but Enel retaliated and wrecked the enemy ship. Spacey hauled the other automata over on a cart, and Enel revived all four with another strike. The group trailed after him into a buried ancient city, where they unwittingly switched on the automata stored within. Both sets of machines then chose to march under Enel as his army.
