Appearance

Sweet Pea is enormous and thickly built, her physique strikingly mannish for a Kuja and topped by a wide, blocky chin. Her hair sits in pigtails, and over the scanty fighting outfit of her tribe she throws a coat across her shoulders in the manner of a Marine officer. The serpent she carries doubles as her weapon.

Personality

What sets her apart is the odd habit of capping her sentences with dramatic flourishes, naming chapters or volumes aloud, as when she announced "a race against time" with the mushrooms closing in on Luffy. Obedient by nature, she does whatever Marguerite tells her, and she was just as floored as the rest to discover Luffy was a man. She honors Boa Hancock the way any Kuja would, kneeling and bowing low, and an honest streak shows when she admitted her hand in keeping Luffy alive after she helped scrape and scorch the mushrooms off him.

History

Once she and Marguerite had burned the fungus from the washed-up Luffy and cleaned him, Sweet Pea nearly tore off his manhood, certain it was a leftover mushroom. With Luffy locked in the island prison, she pocketed his straw hat as a trophy, which drove him to flaunt his rubber abilities to snatch it back. During his execution, after Marguerite owned up to rescuing him, Sweet Pea stepped up too and was turned to stone alongside her and Aphelandra; Luffy gently moved her statue clear of danger. Hancock undid the petrification on Luffy's plea, and Sweet Pea joined the celebration before seeing him off. Come the timeskip she had won a seat among the Kuja Pirates, since their ship admits only the mightiest. She carried Luffy from Rusukaina, stalled the Marines near Sabaody, was present when a Marine fleet bore down on Amazon Lily within Hancock's throne room, and battled S-Snake beside Marguerite during the island's raid. For range attacks she layers Armament Haki over her arrows to hit harder.
