Their gear resembled that of the regular Arabasta Kingdom guards, set apart by a turban crowned with a duck headband and a wing jutting from each side. Each man bore a streak of war paint running down to the nose as a shared marking. The four were distinct: Hyota, their leader, was hugely muscled with a stubbled chin and bulbous nose, wielding an oversized cleaver-like blade; Brahm stood tall and hunched, his light brown hair parted to cover his eyes, carrying twin polearms; Arrow was lean and sharp-chinned with paint ringing his eyes and jaw, fighting with a gold-hilted double-edged sword; and Barrel was stout and round-nosed, draped in thick white rope, swinging a large axe with a flute-like handle.

Devotion to their homeland and king ran absolute in all four. They knowingly downed the Hero Water, fully aware its deadly aftereffect would cost them their lives, simply to give themselves a fighting chance against Crocodile.

The Hero Water flooded them with overwhelming strength, enough to snap their restraining bracelets by merely flexing, but in trade their remaining lifespan collapsed to roughly five minutes. They appeared in the courtyard of Alubarna Palace after Crocodile laid out his Operation Utopia scheme to seize Pluton before Cobra, Vivi, and Chaka. Demanding the king's release, they ignored Cobra's plea not to provoke Crocodile and refused his offer to walk away, instead unleashing the Hero Water. Declaring they would make him feel the nation's pain, they charged together and even landed a blow, but Crocodile dissolved into sand, took to the palace roof, and denied them a worthy death. Moments later the toxin took hold and all four collapsed and died. Crocodile's mocking laughter over their sacrifice drove Chaka to attack him in fury, and their deaths were ultimately avenged when Luffy defeated Crocodile and the Marines arrested him for his crimes against Arabasta.
