An Explosive Situation! Luffy vs. Fake Luffy!

Fake Luffy bullies the real Luffy into apologizing for their collision, and Luffy recalls landing at Sabaody with the Kuja Pirates. Hancock had bid him farewell, pressing a mustache disguise on him and a backpack stocked for years, while the Kuja swore to always aid him and Elder Nyon warned of heavy Marine patrols. Mindful of that warning, Luffy resolves to avoid trouble. At Shakky's Rip-off Bar, Sanji hears that every crewmate but Luffy and Robin has already reached the island, and that the Sunny is fully repaired and coated.

Chopper, eating cotton candy, spots impostors of Sanji, Zoro, Robin, and himself and trails them, mistaking them for the genuine crew, with the real Robin walking close behind. When Fake Luffy fires on Luffy, Luffy slips the bullet using Kenbunshoku Haki and floors the whole gang with Haoshoku Haki, leaving onlookers bewildered. Realizing the talking reindeer is the real Chopper, the fakes plan to swap him in for their own counterfeit, but Fake Chopper bites Fake Robin, and pursuers seize the two impostors thinking they are real, prompting Chopper to set out to rescue Robin.

Inspecting the Sunny's kitchen, Sanji follows a tip to a shop in Grove 42, where the owner frets over a green haired, three sword swordsman with a scarred eye. Recognizing Zoro, Sanji learns he boarded the wrong vessel toward Fish-Man Island; a massive galleon then surfaces cleanly halved, revealing Zoro aboard as the culprit, who realizes his mistake. The anime adds Chopper meeting the fakes, Robin reaching the bar as Sanji leaves, and expands the kidnapping and wrong ship scenes. The Fake Straw Hats share voice actors with the real crew, swapped around.
