Emergency Situation - The Ryugu Palace is Occupied

Trapped by guards ready to burst their air bubble, the crew is saved when Nami spots bubbly coral and floods the chamber with air, leaving Zoro set to confront Neptune. Acting on the upper hand, the pirates bind the soldiers and hold the king captive, stunning Camie and Pappag even as Usopp and Brook insist they only meant to look threatening and flee. Meanwhile, Shirahoshi keeps wavering about leaving her tower, and another blunt remark from Luffy reduces her to tears once more.

When Fukaboshi reaches the palace gate, Zoro takes up the Den Den Mushi and bargains for safe passage off the island in exchange for the unharmed hostages. The two reach an understanding, and Fukaboshi passes along Jinbe's warning: avoid fighting Hody and meet at the Sea Forest. Across town, Chopper holds off the guards with his fresh Kung Fu Point rather than surrender Sanji. Back at the palace, Shirahoshi finally commits to visiting the Sea Forest, and Luffy agrees on condition she stop crying. With Decken still pelting the tower, Neptune lets the crew check on her, and Luffy slips her out hidden inside Megalo's mouth.

The anime clarifies that Nami drained the hall using a giant bubbly coral. Luffy tells Shirahoshi he dislikes her twice here, though the manga gave him the line only once. The episode also debuts new post-timeskip eyecatchers: instead of Luffy reaching for his hat, the intermission shows Zoro drawing his sword and Chopper grabbing his backpack, the first such change after the time skip. Chopper's Kung Fu Point makes its technical debut.
