Eclipse is the saber once carried by the infamous captain Rocks D. Xebec. A single-edged blade of devastating cutting power, it could pierce battleships and harm legendary foes even without Haki. After Rocks fell at God Valley, the sword's whereabouts became unknown.
This weapon belonged to Rocks D. Xebec, the dreaded leader of the Rocks Pirates. It first turns up in Sengoku's recollection of the past and is later named in supplementary material. With Rocks dying in the clash at God Valley, what became of the blade afterward is left a mystery.
Eclipse takes the form of a large saber with one cutting edge, a rounded guard, and a knuckle-bow that curves up to meet a round pommel. Rocks usually wore it sheathed in a pale scabbard at his right hip. In his grip the sword displayed staggering force, able to trade blows with the world's mightiest fighters. He could blast a hole clean through Marine warships with one swing, wound Harald's giant son Loki, and slice apart one of Jaygarcia Saturn's monstrous legs. Against Figarland Garling on God Valley he loosed a flying slash that tore across the island all the way to the sea, opening a small chasm, and most of these feats were done without any Armament Haki, a testament to the blade's durability.
Rocks is the only known wielder. His signature move with it, Pandemonium, is a powerful two-handed downward strike, first seen on God Valley when he joined Garp, Roger, Newgate, Linlin, and Kaidou in a combined assault on Imu, who simply regenerated from the attack. The name draws on the term coined by John Milton for the demon capital of Hell in Paradise Lost, fitting a blade said to channel the curse of the abyss.

The transformation everyone knows, the follow-up question nobody would touch. Why we made a smooth R&B track about the golden glow Dragon Ball never talks about....
