Snipers and bazooka-toting hunters drive Zoro through the buildings, but he weaves through gunfire using a table as a shield and escapes with the help of his sword Yubashiri. When Miss Monday hurls a barrel of liquor at him, he splits it into four pieces that strike four attackers. A stone hammer swung from behind is sliced clean through, proving the keen edge of the Sandai Kitetsu. Zoro foils a young boy with a knife and a nun who tries to gas him, then topples a ladder to send pursuers crashing down.

Miss Monday ambushes Zoro and catches his neck with her super-strength, but he challenges her to a contest of raw power and crushes her grip, leaving her defeated. Watching the carnage, Mr. 8 concludes the Marines must have mislabeled the bounties, since Zoro's strength suggests he, not Luffy, is the true captain.
