Within an unfamiliar realm, locals scramble to smother a blaze before it reaches Yggdrasil, the towering world tree. Wounded oversized bees keep tumbling from its branches, baffling the residents, who fret over reporting the chaos to their Sun God and mourn the fall of their giant Ear God. In a separate area called Bigstein Castle, Nami uses Zeus to bring down one of the bees, then panics, having no clue where she is or how she arrived.

Hearing Usopp nearby, she rushes toward his voice but stumbles into a startled giant hedgehog that begins chasing her in a rage. She finds Usopp menaced by an enormous cat. Nami stretches Zeus to shock the hedgehog, tumbles, and lands atop the cat, the falling hedgehog zapping the feline as well. The jolt only infuriates the beast, which pursues the pair. Usopp recalls that both of them woke in fresh outfits after drinking a potent, hallucination-inducing liquor the Giants offered aboard ship.

Cornered, Usopp convinces himself the cat is an illusion, a theory the creature disproves by striking him. Both are knocked off a ledge, and below they watch the cat morph into a lion. Nami shields herself with Usopp until Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji crash in, dropping the lion with a simultaneous trio of finishing blows that revert it to a cat. Luffy declines to eat it, the others debate hunting the local animals and exploiting the bees, and an exasperated Nami again demands to know where they are.

The vanished Straw Hats are confirmed to be trapped in a mysterious land dominated by the world tree Yggdrasil. Nami and Usopp cross paths again inside Bigstein Castle, and Luffy, Zoro, and Sanji arrive to rescue them from a cat-monster, Iscat, that can swell into a lion. The drug-laced Giant liquor is named as the likely reason the group woke disoriented in new clothing.

The elaborate combination move that fells Iscat deliberately echoes a teamwork attack used against a Sandora Lizard back in chapter 162, and the two chapter titles mirror one another, since the Japanese word covers both "Land" and "Kingdom."
