Summary

A herd of lapahns, enormous and savage rabbits, halts Luffy and Sanji short of the castle. Sanji insists the fight belongs to him alone, since any blow Luffy throws could endanger the sick Nami on his back. The cook boots the creatures aside, but the herd turns vicious once they watch him strike down one of their young.

Down in the valley, Dalton leads Vivi and Usopp to Cocoa Weed, the last place Kureha was spotted, only to find she has already moved on. Worse news follows when a stunned guard reports that the old king Wapol has come back. On the shoreline, Wapol has already crushed the village defenders and is eager to retake his castle, but word that the Going Merry sits nearby and that the Straw Hats made for Bighorn redirects his fury toward revenge. Dalton, meanwhile, abandons Cocoa Weed at once, racing to block the tyrant from regaining power.
