Summary

The guards verify that three inmates, Buggy, Mr. 3, and Mr. 2, are lending Luffy a hand. He and Bon Kurei, having battered their way past a swarm of Blue Gorillas, climb toward Level 4, while Buggy and Mr. 3 whip up an uproar on Level 2 that the surrounding prisoners welcome as a break from the tedium, even as they assume it ends in recapture. Down on Level 4, a rattled Magellan puzzles over what Saldeath could be doing, not knowing the useless Blugori were redeployed to Level 2 while his attention was fixed on Hancock. When Sadi reports that Minotaurus has surfaced on Level 3, Magellan leaves that floor in Saldeath's hands, calls everyone to gather on Level 4, and decides he will personally deal with the intruders if the beast fails to stop them.

Key Events

The Jailer Beast Minotaurus springs on the duo across Level 3, slamming Bon Kurei with a spiked mace and hurling Luffy backward. After the creature pins and throttles Bon Kurei, Luffy switches to Gear 2 and rockets it up the stairway with a Jet Bazooka. Reaching the Blazing Hell of Level 4 means scaling the wall and dropping down the far side, but the Minotaurus charges back just as Buggy and Mr. 3 turn up again. Buggy fires off a compact Muggy Ball, Bon Kurei drops onto the beast from overhead, and Luffy seals the kill with a hardened wax shell around his Gomu Gomu no Tonkachi Rifle. That final strike caves in the floor and sends the entire group tumbling to Level 4.
