Jungle Blood

Suffering the very first bloody nose of his life, Pearl snaps into a frenzy and ignites his armor by striking the pearls covering it. The terrified cooks warn that he could set the whole vessel ablaze, but Sanji rebukes them, insisting that chefs of all people should never fear flame, and he vaults straight over the wall of fire Pearl raised. Outmatched in speed and footwork, Pearl grows angrier as Sanji thrashes him, the cook explaining that he fights only with his legs because his hands belong to his trade.

Desperate to keep his ship intact, Don Krieg flings a heavy knob toward the brawling pair. Luffy bats it aside with his Gum Gum Bazooka, redirecting it into Krieg's own mast, which topples over and knocks Pearl out cold.

Sanji defends his crewmates by leaping over Pearl's firewall, declaring that a cook has no business being scared of fire. Luffy ends the bout by deflecting Krieg's thrown weapon, which collapses the mast and renders Pearl unconscious. The Krieg Pirates are far from finished, however, as Gin presses a gun to Zeff's head and threatens his life.

The cover continues Buggy's Crew Adventure Chronicles, where his crew, still believing their captain dead, build a grave for his severed body on an unknown island. The chapter notes that Pearl was born in the jungle, the source of the title, and that Sanji's disregard for fire stems entirely from his identity as a chef.
