Summary
Sanji keeps absorbing Pearl's blows without resistance, having resolved to die rather than surrender the Baratie to the Krieg Pirates. Luffy cannot grasp how throwing away his life would honor Zeff's earlier sacrifice. To rob Sanji's suicide of any purpose, Luffy wrecks most of the restaurant, reasoning that a destroyed Baratie is no longer worth Don Krieg's attention. As the two clash over the right way to protect Zeff, Pearl moves to strike them both. Before he can land a hit, Gin floors him with a single blow and announces that he intends to be the one who finishes Sanji off.
