Chapter 647

With every senior enemy down, the residents marvel at the crew's victory while the exhausted Straw Hats trade jabs and wait for their captain. Above them Luffy keeps pounding Noah in Gear Third, racing to break it apart before it crushes everyone below. Neptune and Fukaboshi grieve the necessity, apologizing to Joy Boy as lives must come first. Shirahoshi throws herself in front of Luffy, begging him to stop, and reveals the ship has already been arrested by a ring of Sea Kings gripping its chains.

The towering Sea Kings hold Noah suspended, sparing both the island and the ancient vessel. Luffy, his wound reopening, faints in relief and tumbles back down toward the ship.
