Shun Oguri

Oguri provided the Japanese voice of Mad Treasure in the One Piece franchise. The role sits among a handful of voice-over credits he has taken outside his primary career as a live-action screen actor, including an earlier anime part as Alfons Heiderich in the 2005 Fullmetal Alchemist film. Unlike most of the anime's regular cast, Oguri built his reputation mainly through live-action television and film work before this One Piece appearance.

Born in December 1982 as the youngest of three siblings in a family already immersed in entertainment (his father a stage director, his older brother a fellow actor), Oguri broke into the industry as a child extra before landing his first credited role at age thirteen in the 1995 drama Hachidai Shogun Yoshimune. He went on to build one of the busiest filmographies among his generation, appearing in over a hundred productions including Crows Zero, the live-action Gintama films, and various Lupin the Third projects, while also moving into directing with 2010's Surely Someday. His career later crossed into Hollywood with a role in 2021's Godzilla vs. Kong, and in 2023 he took over as president of his talent agency, Tristone Entertainment.
