Accel

Accel cuts a rugged, street-ready figure. A long-sleeved black shirt sits beneath a pocketed vest, with armored gauntlets on his arms, knee-padded jeans, and roller blades strapped to his feet. He is young, dark-eyed, and topped with an unkempt mop of black hair. Once he throws in with the Neo Heroes, he trades up to one of their battle suits.

Integrity defines Accel. He shoulders real responsibility for the Hunters under his command and guards their welfare closely. That same conscience fuels his deep distrust of the modern Hero Association, which he dismisses as a vain outfit more invested in its wealth and image than in ordinary people. Sharp-eyed by nature, he points out how the organization coddles the rich and influential, hoards its assets, undervalues its own workers, and looks away from its uglier habits rather than getting anything done.

His scorn does not reach the staff who actually risk their lives, and he reserves genuine admiration for a handful of heroes, above all Mumen Rider, whose stubborn courage against hopeless odds he calls legendary and credits with driving the Hunters to take up arms. He even gifts the rider a custom powered exo-mantle. His suspicion instead falls on Ryumon, whom he believes joined the Neo Heroes only to arm his gang. Accel is also clear-eyed about his own limits, admitting that his idol lacks the raw power to stand against the deadliest foes.

As founder and leader of the Neo Hunters, a group credited with bringing down two Demon-level threats, Accel is a formidable operator. His body is enhanced, and with a Neo Heroes battle suit he can trade blows with the Demon-level Explosive Velocity Snail, if only briefly. Rocket-powered skates are his signature, carrying him at sustained speeds near 390 kilometers per hour even mid-fight, and he handles an axe with real expertise, cutting into the giant snail while hurtling along at that pace.

His battle suit reads his nervous system to boost his physique and includes a life-support system, though that function can be disabled, while his axe is coated with poison strong enough to wound a Demon-level monster. Beyond the physical, he is a shrewd tactician, drawing up and executing the plan that funnels the snail into a killing ground where his Hunters finish it off with spears.
