Appearance

The first thing anyone notices about Agoni is his massive cleft chin. Well into his later years, he has a broad nose set below thick, bushy brows and a heavy mustache. His brown hair lies flat with a part on the left side, and he keeps to the sharp lines of a formal business suit.

Personality

Little has been shown of what Agoni is like. What is clear is that a monster's assault on his grandson pushed him to pour resources into stopping such tragedies, and that resolve took shape as the Hero Association.

History

Roughly three years before the main story, Agoni's grandson defaced the shell of the Mysterious Being Crablante as a prank and became its target, only for the passing Saitama to step in and save him. So struck was Agoni by the rescue that he brought the Hero Association into being, along with its National Superhero Registry, meaning to raise and coordinate defenders like that stranger who could guard people from Mysterious Beings.

He funneled seventy percent of his fortune into the project, paying for its facilities, its personnel, and the design of its system. For all he set in motion, Agoni carries no powers beyond those of an ordinary person and has still not turned up in the flesh, glimpsed only in a booklet given to Saitama once his hero registration went through.
