Ancient King

Towering and only loosely humanoid, the Ancient King fuses a range of beastly traits into one enormous frame. Scales sheathe his body, horns crown his head, and rows of jagged teeth fill his jaws. Hooked claws tip his limbs, and a long reptilian tail trails behind him.

Cruelty and ambition drive this king. Like the other clan rulers of his race, he wants the surface of the Earth conquered for his own kind. His arrogance runs deep. Convinced that people are capable of nothing, he belittles Tatsumaki with open contempt the moment she arrives to face him.

For roughly three hundred million years the Ancient King lay dormant, biding his time until the rival clan kings and their armies had all been wiped out. Once he stirred, humanity's forces opened fire, yet their missiles shattered harmlessly against the Terror Lizard's hide, which he boasted only a meteor could ever pierce. In answer, the Hero Association sent Tatsumaki.

Little of his power was shown, though he could gather immense energy and loose a massive beam from his jaws, and his size alone hinted at devastating strength. The confrontation never became a real contest. After a few taunting words, Tatsumaki wrenched a colossal boulder from the earth with her mind and dropped it onto him, ending his reign in a single stroke. He also turns up as a boss in the Road to Hero mobile games.
