Asami

Young and athletically toned, Asami has dark violet hair falling to her shoulders and pale purple eyes, with faint creases visible beneath them. Her combat gear is a custom power suit in black and white, layered over a shirt. Volume 21's back cover art gives her a large skull tattoo inked below the chest.

Asami has a mercenary's mindset through and through. Cornered and fearing for her life, she will stoop to anything, weeping included, to pull through. Still, she is clear-eyed about herself and quietly admits how sorry her position really is.

Narinki brings Asami's team in to extract his son from the Monster Association, promising a payout rich enough to keep their grandchildren from ever needing work. The squad slips inside but is beaten back, and G5 rounds them up and hauls them before Orochi and Gyoro Gyoro. While the monsters bicker over their fate, Royal Ripper cuts in to claim the prisoners for himself, until Do-S catches the blade on her whip and pitches a plan to keep the mercenaries as love slaves of her own, an idea Gyoro Gyoro signs off on. Brought under Do-S's control, Asami and the rest are told to cut down any hero they meet, and they soon clash with Atomic Samurai's three disciples. Sweet Mask arrives meaning to wipe out the entire squad, so the disciples circle back and pin the mercenaries down to keep them alive.

Once Do-S falls, the whip's grip breaks and Asami's will returns; she gushes over Sweet Mask and, mirroring Tongara's claim that his fear had all been an act, swears she too was only playacting, though she had in truth almost lost control of her bladder. She keeps fighting alongside the disciples until Evil Natural Water lays the group low, and Pig God later scoops her up and carries her to safety. Come the Neo Heroes era, she works security at Narinki Park beside her old squadmates and looks on as Sweet Mask duels Pesky Clown after the clown hurts her coworkers. The advanced armor she wears, thought to come from The Organization, lets her lean on top A-Class heroes, and she blends sharp close-quarters skills with a large spear that Okamaitachi eventually wrecks.
