Baquma

Shaped like an upright elephant, Baquma dresses in a crisp suit that lends him the flair of a stage magician. The letters B, Q, and M are stamped across his ears and crown. Instead of walking, he drifts just above the floor on a hovering disc while keeping a slim cane in hand. Feeding on other monsters bloats his frame considerably and sprouts four additional arms, along with fresh eyes and trunks for each power he takes on.

Little sympathy is extended toward weaker beings, whom Baquma treats as fuel to be devoured for their abilities. He nonetheless holds deep reverence for the association's heads, Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi, and berates fellow monsters who try to abandon the fight, refusing to withdraw with nothing to show for it. That pride carries onto the battlefield, where he badly overrates his own worth as a combatant.

During the Monster Association raid, Baquma cuts off a knot of low-ranking monsters as they scramble away from Puri-Puri Prisoner, warning that Gyoro Gyoro and Orochi never forgive deserters. Goaded into facing the hero himself, he draws the fleeing creatures into his trunk, a trick called Digestive Assimilation that lets him wield whatever power a swallowed monster possesses. Every absorption grants another eye and trunk, and through it he briefly commands electricity taken from Maiko Plasma alongside fire, ice, supersonic waves, anesthetic gas, venom, and parasitic eggs. Those borrowed gifts vanish once he fully digests and expels a victim.

Ranked as a Demon-level threat, he outclassed the Tiger-level monsters he had consumed, yet none of that stolen strength mattered against his opponent. Puri-Puri Prisoner shrugs off every blow, explains that his trembling body is a freshly minted style named Vibration Angel, then rips straight through Baquma with the Vibrating Dark Angel Rush. In his final moment he regards the hero as the true monster, and the beings caged inside him spill free, several of them knocked out cold.
