Bofoi

Bofoi is an older man with a thinning crown of white hair, a pronounced overbite, and a large nose, usually seen in a lab coat over a blue shirt. He rarely turns up in person, preferring to act through machines that he pilots from a secure distance. Two of these have been shown so far: a hulking flying unit bristling with firepower and a smaller, roughly human-sized model with no obvious weapons, most likely meant for scouting.

A relentless curiosity about advanced technology defines Bofoi. He sent a robot to pick through the Dark Matter Thieves' wreckage for anything useful, and when a meteor bore down on Z-City his chief worry was whether his new missiles would perform. Outside his own interests he shows scant compassion. He knows the Hero Association's leadership is corrupt and is happy to turn their pettiness to his advantage, yet he still keeps arming them.

Around monsters he is cautious and coldly practical, correctly reading the Monster Association's provocation as a trap and proposing to simply bomb their lair, hostage child be damned, a plan the association refused and that even Child Emperor found repugnant. Beneath the calculating exterior runs a real dread of some hidden evil, and his creed amounts to sacrificing a few to save the many. Child Emperor, his former assistant, is one of the rare people he treats with any warmth. After watching Saitama smash through his robots, his interest sharpens into outright suspicion, and he steps up his surveillance of the bald hero as a possible future danger.

Bofoi's S-Class standing rests on his mind and his arsenal rather than any physical gift. Gyoro Gyoro counted him among the handful of heroes able to bring down Elder Centipede, and Child Emperor holds that his weaponry outstrips that of any single hero. He never risks himself directly, instead piloting a fleet of remote machines built for combat, reconnaissance, and reconstruction, with at least a hundred fighting robots confirmed to his name.

His genius intellect lets him design highly advanced weapons and defenses, from a nearly indestructible shelter to the automated array that guards the association headquarters, and his engineering skill allowed him to rebuild the A-City HQ in a matter of days. His favored machine is a large silver battle robot fitted with rocket flight, devastating missiles, and gripping suction pads, backed up by recon units, a four-legged construction robot full of recovery drones, drill and tank-walker models, unmanned carpet bombers, drone swarms for clearing radioactive fallout, and a stockpile of long-range, possibly nuclear missiles whose launch codes he guards closely.
