Destro

In disguise, Destro sports closely cropped hair, a suit and tie, and shadowed rings beneath his eyes. Once that human shell comes off, he stands exposed as a heavy-duty combat robot marked by one glowing eye and bulky industrial cooling hoses. The whole build is made for brute force, plated in enormous segmented armor and mounting a high-output energy cannon inside one mechanical gauntlet.

Destro approaches guard duty with a businesslike, professional manner, generally holding his tongue and leaving the talking to Elimin. He stays wary of dangerous opponents like Metal Bat, yet plainly bristles when his partner butts into a fight. Fully aware that the Neo Heroes are the ones responsible for the robot crisis, he and Elimin move to keep McCoy from turning Metal Bat loose, a sign of how little humanity means to him.

Destro and Elimin present themselves as ex-mercenaries, but that history is a manufactured front hiding what they really are: machines built by The Organization. Serving as Neo Heroes security, the two escort figures such as Mars Leo and Kokou during a leaders' meeting. Trouble with Metal Bat begins when the hero spots them wheeling the beaten Zaedats and Infelsinave off to a recovery chamber for conversion into cyborgs. Lured there, Metal Bat is ambushed by a pair of battle-suited attackers, Mars Leo and Kokou, and Destro calls for his death. When the hero swings back, Destro throws himself into the brawl, blocking a blow with a kick whose metallic ring gives him away. He fires Sparking Tornado to shock Metal Bat, then lowers his guard and eats a bat to the skull, only for Elimin's tranquilizer darts to close out the round. Held under drugs for days and later chained for a forced conversion, Metal Bat breaks loose and flees once Blue and Fuzzy step in and expose how rashly the pair had acted. In the end the S-Class hero tears Destro apart with nothing but his hands.

Ninety-four percent of Destro's body is machine, and the Neo Heroes trust him enough to guard their headquarters, with Kokou judging it foolish to provoke him. Once his disguise drops, his true form can drive Metal Bat clean through a wall with a single punch before hammering him down to the floor. He soaks up repeated swings without much harm, though Elimin cautions that the punishment would pile up eventually, and he is quick enough to react to and parry the S-Class hero. An internal damage ratio keeps tally of the abuse he takes. His Sparking Tornado spits a burst of energy from a sharply spun arm, while his Destroy Mode has him bull forward behind a torrent of heavy punches.
