Forte

Forte is a young man rarely seen without a set of headphones clamped over his ears. He rounds out his everyday look with glasses, a hooded top, and a cap.

His first meeting with Saitama shows a cocky streak, as he feels so certain of his own superiority that he throws down a challenge for a duel on the spot. That bravado cools once a Blizzard Group car flattens him and lands him in a hospital bed. After watching Saitama fight for real, his opinion flips entirely, and he comes to regret his hostility, even reaching out in friendship to the man he had meant to beat.

Forte enters the story during the Neo Heroes Saga, arriving with Butterfly DX and Chain'n'toad to welcome Saitama as their new neighbor and senior. Taking offense at a remark about his fighting style, he demands a duel, only to be struck by the Blizzard Group's speeding car before it can begin. He wakes in the hospital, where his friends admit that a vehicle, not Saitama, put him there, though he still owns up to his mistaken pride. Once he sees Saitama's power on display against Tatsumaki, he nervously shelves any rematch and grows to respect the bald hero. He later builds a doghouse for Rover and Black Sperm, gets evicted from his room so Genos can move in, and weighs an invitation to join the emerging Neo Heroes organization.

Forte fights bare-handed as an A-Class hero, and his combat style hinges on rhythm. He pipes music through his headphones to lock into a fighting tempo, a habit that doubles as his biggest weakness: with the volume high he loses track of his surroundings, drowning out even car horns. Those headphones are his defining piece of gear, switched to battle music the moment a fight begins.
